Vienna in 3 days
|
Vienna in 3 days ? Our 3 walks will help you to explore each individual area of the city, and you can do a city walk which focuses on the topic of Jugendstil. This file describes the walks in detail, as well as all the interesting things to see along the way. So one walk each day, with time to visit a museum, church, or to do some shopping. TIP 1: A small ring encircles the old town of Vienna, which is served by a tram doing a constant round trip along this ring. This is a very handy way of visiting the city. The bus connections within Vienna city centre and the surrounding areas are splendid. However, connections to the villages and towns more than 30 km away from Vienna are more problematic. In this case it would be best to take the train. TIP 2: In Vienna, a prepaid Wien Karte offers 3 days of unlimited travel on the underground, trams and buses. With this card you will also benefit from a whole range of discounts in shops, restaurants, and most importantly entrance to many museums.
