Tips for Paris
> Tip 1: Paris Visite is a transport card, which can be purchased in advance to use the Metro, RER and scheduled buses. If you buy a card for zones 1 to 3, you will be able to travel at no extra charge all over the city centre. Cards are valid for 1, 2 or 3 days. Considerable children discounts apply. The Paris Visite card is for sale at every metro and train station in Paris.
> Tip 2: The Paris Museum Pass is a card that gives you free access to more than 60 museums and monuments, including the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay. Like so many other passes, the card is only worth while if you visit many of the attractions listed on it. You can buy the pass at all participating museums and monuments.
> Tip 3: When you plan your trip, take into account that most museums close either on Mondays or Tuesdays. Many museums are free on the 1st Sunday of the month, which means they get really busy.
