> The most famous Marché aux Puces or flea market is located at Saint-Ouen. You can find all information on the Saint-Ouen website. The flea market is open Friday to Monday. A single day will not be enough to visit the entire market.
Opening times: shops open Tuesday to Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Bear in mind that most shops close for an hour and a half around noon. Department stores open Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and do not close during the day. To avoid disappointment, make a note of these opening times when you plan your trip.

TIP: Make sure to spend some time at Les Bouquinistes. They are book stalls along the Seine in the centre of the city. They open all year round. Some stalls are real antiquarian book shops; others just sell second hand books or small paintings. If you like old postcards, you will also love browsing around the stalls.
