Paris Visite is too expensive
It’s true that it’s convenient to travel trough Paris with the Paris Visite card. But if you watch out and plan carefully, you’ll need no more than 2 metro rides per day. Therefore, you can buy a 10-ticket “carnet”, it’s a lot cheaper.

Parking in Paris
Beware: some parking lots are not open during the weekend. Watch the opening hours closely because some parking lots close during the weekend. If you have no other choice, you can pay in advance, you then receive a pass to be able to remove your car outside the opening hours. However, if the system fails, you’re in big trouble. The message is: watch out.

Dining on the Bateaux Parisiens
As a present, we had received a dinner on board of the Bateaux Parisiens. At first, I thought that they were less well known than the famous Bateaux Mouches until the departure. BP left with 3 full boats, the BM had only half a boat full. The food and the trip in the lighted Paris was unique and unforgettable. I would also advise that the 2nd category offers the best price/quality ratio. You have window seats and better wines.
