London: tips
London Sightseeing Regent's Park area

Worth seeing in the Regent's Park area

The walk you can follow here takes in the sights one by one:
Start of walk: Baker Street underground station
End of walk: Baker Street underground station
Distance: 4 km

Madame Tussaud's
metro: Baker Street
The world famous waxworks museum containing more than 400 famous people, present and past, from the Queen to Naomi Campbell, and a Chamber of Horrors containing the most notorious criminals. The 'Superstars and Legends' section has been given a facelift. In 'The Spirit of London', one of the latest attractions, you take a taxi through the history of London. 'Premier Night' brings the heroes of the silver screen to life. You get a look behind the scenes of the film set on which Steven Spielberg directed his last blockbuster.

Stardome
metro: Baker Street
An astonishing three-dimensional voyage of discovery through space and time, where you come face to face with the mysteries of the cosmos, then step aboard a spaceship for a trip to Mars, in the year 2502. The show lasts 40 minutes.

The Regent's Park
metro: Regent's Park
The Regent's Park covers an area of no less than 190 hectares. Not just a few trees around a pond, it was designed by the architect John Nash. You can wander around at your ease, go boating, marvel at the gardens, and even take in an open-air performance of Shakespeare. Everything has been thought of, and there are places to eat and separate toilet facilities.

London Zoo
metro: Baker Street
London zoo lies in a corner of The Regent's Park and covers an area of about three hectares. However, there are not enough original initiatives to warrant a visit during a short city break. But it is definitely recommended if you are staying a little longer in London.

Sherlock Holmes Museum
metro: Baker Street
No doubt you have heard of him, the detective who never existed. This museum leads you deeper into the many mysteries of Sherlock Holmes. Of course, a fascination with this man is a great help.
