Don’t miss Casa Mila
Upon advice by a friend, we visited the Gaudi’s Casa Mila. We queued for an hour but it was really worth the effort. Even after having visited the Sagrada Familia and the Parc Guell you must certainly not forget to put Casa Mila on your visiting list. There you can get a better feel for Gaudi’s ideas about interior decoration. You just have to deal with the waiting lines.

Strenuous walking in Barcelona
We had planned everything on the city map at home but when we were there the distances seemed so long. We were lucky that the weather was not that hot. As most guides mention, it is better to take the Bus Turistic. There are 2 itineraries and it stops at every interesting sights of the city. But it certainly has a price tag on it: around 20 euros for one day. Apparently it does not cost much more for 2 days. You can buy the ticket on the bus.

The city of late eaters
The first evening we wanted to eat in the city centre, but were told that we had to wait until 8 PM. The day after we thought that we could eat in a place crammed with tourists, in the harbour, where all the famous fish restaurants are located. Well even there you had to wait until 8 PM to get a meal. So eat enough during the day!
